MK Prevention Services firmly believes in education for the prevention of dating violence and sexual assault. We engage high school and college students in meaningful conversation surrounding healthy and unhealthy relationships and sexual assault by delivering captivating presentations, facilitating workshops, and creating personal connections. We educate students on how to protect themselves and others by learning warning signs of abusive or unhealthy relationships, tools and resources for prevention and survivors, navigating helping others in dangerous situations, therapeutic methods for healing trauma, and so much more. Topics range from mental health conversations to Title IX advocacy! We seek to empower students to empower themselves and everyone else around them by giving them the knowledge to understand healthy versus unhealthy relationships, and a voice to help prevent themselves and others from ever being in a dangerous situation.

All interactions and lessons have the opportunity to make an impact on the students, school, and community as a whole. We cannot ignore the difficult conversations, instead, we need to embrace them and encourage students to have a voice in the conversation. Together, we can lower dating violence statistics and create a world where everyone stands empowered and safe.
