Every story has the power to create change. We create spaces where individuals are reminded of their strength, their voice, and their ability to grow — fostering connection, awareness, and empowerment within every community we serve.

Magnolia by MK is an educational consulting and media organization rooted in empowerment, prevention, personal development, and community wellness. Through meaningful conversations, evidence-informed education, and storytelling, we create spaces where individuals and communities feel seen, supported, and empowered to create lasting change.
Inspired by the magnolia flower — a symbol of resilience, strength, and growth — our work honors the belief that even through difficult seasons, there is always the ability to learn, transform, and bloom.

Magnolia by MK was created from a passion for prevention, advocacy, education, and the belief that knowledge has the power to change lives. Founded by Mya, who has spent over 10 years working in the field of prevention education, Magnolia by MK represents the evolution of a decade dedicated to creating safer, healthier, and more connected communities.

Through years of working with students, schools, and organizations, Mya recognized the importance of conversations that are honest, inclusive, and accessible. In 2021, she founded MK Prevention Services as a way to bring prevention-focused education directly into schools, campuses, and communities through interactive workshops, keynote presentations, and programming centered around healthy relationships, consent, safety, and empowerment.
Today, Magnolia by MK serves as the umbrella organization for education, consulting, and storytelling initiatives designed to meet people where they are. From prevention programming to digital media and community conversations through Dear MK, our work creates space for learning, reflection, connection, and growth.
At the heart of everything we do is the belief that every person deserves access to education, support, and resources — regardless of their background, identity, experiences, or story. We recognize that conversations around safety, relationships, and wellness impact people across all races, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, cultures, and communities. Our goal is to create spaces where everyone feels respected, represented, and empowered.
